Time to be somebody

In today's world, where globalization has basically made all of us the same from one corner of the world to another , it can be quite daunting to overcome the prejudices and perceptions of such an ever narrowing world and becoming SOMEBODY.With Kate Moss, Topman and Mcdonalds telling us to wear tight fitting dresses , get the latest skinny jeans, eat the new black pepper spicy chicken burger which is fundamentally paying 3 ringgit more for something which is originally less and just as spicy. We are so lazy to define ourselves to an extent that we ask the static black box to tell us how we should be.

Sometimes in the road to becoming somebody, people and peers like to give us an idea of this somebody.In simple terms, parents,teachers, old people, JUSTIN BIEBER tell us what the somebody is.
"Oh the somebody is a doctor " or maybe "Oh the somebody is a lawyer"
"Oh I just need somebody to love"
All those things

As a young, budding adult driven to do something for himself, i would much prefer if people could keep their own thoughts to themselves. Instead they should act as mirrors, reflecting and intensifying our own thoughts and goals and make them a reality

says the young budding engineer,economist,football manager,foodie,consultant,businessman,philosopher and all round renaissance man

Thats a lot to live up to

Finally after 2 years of voxing. Im back to square 1 . it feels so weird coming back to blogging. previously before, i never felt like blogging . but sometimes, things need to be said

Well theres a hidden meaning to that, one which with analysis and logic can be deduced to another meaning.
Oh and the oxymoron rocks too !
